Who we are

The Puddleduck Nursery is a family friendly nursery school with long serving staff who are dedicated to providing outstanding Early Years Education to children in South London. Kim Bradley, owner, is a Mother of two who believes that children have the right to a childhood full of nature, imagination, creativity, fun and friends.

We want to offer this generation the opportunity to enjoy the wonderful outdoors childhood that many of us were fortunate enough to have experienced but that children in London are sadly now missing out on. 

Over the years, as we refined our childcare practice, we became acquainted with Friedrich Froebel and his profound appreciation for nature as a cornerstone of learning. We recognised how he established a framework to effectively introduce children to this rich and engaging educational experience. Consequently, in 2020, we embraced a Froebelian approach across our nursery, ensuring that many of our staff received training in this methodology. In addition to our Froebelian approach, we adhere to the Ofsted Curriculum, which is a requirement for all nurseries in the UK, encompassing best practices and guidance in all relevant areas. We also remain informed about advancements in Early Years Teaching both in the UK and internationally, having participated in events and fostering connecting with Froebel Nurseries around the globe.
