The Puddleduck Nursery encourages our staff to continue with their Professional Development and sponsors training courses.
All our staff have been very closely vetted by The Puddleduck Nursery and references taken for the security and the welfare of your child. All have had Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) checks and they all complete a 12 hour Paediatric First Aid Course whilst at The Puddleduck Nursery.
Teachers and Ratios
At The Puddleduck Nursery, our Teachers are highly qualified and experienced. The qualifications vary and are as follows:
Early Years Teacher Status (EYTS), Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), Bachelor of Education, Montessori Diploma, NNEB, Early Years Educator, NVQ Level 3, Froebel trained, Level 3 and 5 in Management of Early Years or an Overseas Diploma (equivalent or higher).

The teacher to child ratio is dependent on the age of your child. For your information we have listed them below.
